Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and lead the implementation of the Retail, SME, Agriculture & Emerging Business strategy in line with the overall banking strategy; to ensure achievement of profitability targets through revenue maximization;
∎ Drive sustainable growth and acquisition of new customers for the Retail Banking as well as SME Banking through creation, development and maintenance of high quality advisory relationships;
∎ Strengthen sales mechanisms and sales force management ;
∎ Ensure strong cross- selling of existing and new products to existing and new clients; and in this process, maintain effective liaison with all relevant business units in the Bank;
∎ Drive customer-led propositions by developing a pipeline of value adding customer solutions;
∎ Build customer understanding through market research, introducing / strengthening customer segmentation and monitoring market development;
∎ Maintains a detailed and current understanding of the industry (at Retail and SME Banking, current market structures; regulatory requirements and issues) to ensure that opportunities are realized by mitigating risks.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 15 years working experience in Retail Business, SME Business or Sales/similar areas of any reputed Bank/Financial Institutions with demonstrated business development responsibilities, preferable to hold the position of Head;
∎ Must have hands on experience in Credit Analysis & Administration, Sales, Relationship Management, Customer Service, commercial and product development functions of a commercial bank at managerial level;
∎ A thorough knowledge of SME and Retail Banking products and services, and extensive Banking Industry knowledge;
∎ Excellent interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to network, generate new business and develop strong business relations.
