Responsibilities & Context:
Quality Strategy & Leadership
Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, standards, and objectives for yarn dyeing operations.
Lead the QA team to ensure adherence to quality policies, procedures, and buyer requirements.
Ensure quality parameters are aligned with customer expectations and industry best practices
Process Control & Improvement
Monitor and control quality at all stages of yarn dyeing from material receipt to final inspection and packing.
Identify process variations and take corrective and preventive actions to minimize shade variation, uneven dyeing, or re-dyeing.
Drive root cause analysis (RCA) for quality defects and ensure sustainable solutions are implemented.
Testing & Lab Management
Supervise the lab team for accurate shade matching, recipe development, and lab-to-bulk reproducibility.
Ensure testing equipment calibration, chemical quality, and environmental compliance in the lab.
Approve final shade cards and bulk sample approvals before production release.
Customer Quality Assurance
Liaise with merchandising and buyers for quality feedback and shade approval.
Ensure zero claim policy through proactive quality assurance and shipment inspection
Address customer complaints, lead investigation, and establish preventive mechanisms.
Team Development & Training
Build, coach, and develop a skilled quality team capable of ensuring consistent performance.
Conduct regular training on dyeing standards, testing procedures, and problem-solving techniques.
