∎ Bachelor's degree in any discipline.Proven experience in procurement management, preferably in industries such as Plastic & Polymer, Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverage, Packaging, or related sectors.
∎ Strong technical knowledge of machine parts and components, with the ability to understand technical specifications and requirements.
∎ Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
∎ Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of procurement professionals.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement procurement strategies for machine parts and components, ensuring timely acquisition of high-quality materials at competitive prices.
∎ Collaborate closely with the maintenance heads for each respective industry to understand maintenance requirements, forecast demand, and source appropriate machine parts and components.
∎ Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify potential vendors, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term relationships with reliable suppliers.
∎ Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
∎ Work closely with maintenance heads to provide technical support and guidance in selecting the right parts and components for machinery maintenance and repair.
∎ Monitor inventory levels of machine parts and components, optimize stock levels, and implement inventory management best practices to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
∎ Develop and maintain comprehensive supplier databases, including supplier performance evaluations, pricing information, and contract terms.
∎ Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and market dynamics related to machine parts and components, incorporating insights into procurement strategies.
∎ Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including maintenance, production, and finance departments, to align procurement activities with organizational goals and priorities.
∎ Lead and develop a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a high level of competency and productivity.
