Job Context:
∎ Head of PMO is responsible for driving large transformation initiatives at a Group of Company, which has 13 companies, including RMG (Ready Made Garments, Retail, Pharma, Real Estate Development). This role is accountable for leading and delivering complex strategic, transformational and growth projects with the goal of achieving a superior customer experience and operational excellence.
∎ Focus will be primarily on large scale, transformational opportunities. The incumbent will work closely with senior leadership and management stakeholders to prioritize and align business opportunities with the strategic goals of the company and then deliver on those opportunities via targeted projects.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collaborates with function heads to define, develop, and implement the transformation program and associated projects, delivering value for the organization
∎ Design the structure of new transformation programs with the business, informed by a deep understanding of the state of the business
∎ Provides strategic direction related to all aspects of the portfolio, including defining the planning approach, team structure, engagement activities, and value assessment across all programs in the portfolio
∎ Drive large transformational projects (cross-functional teams) for various business areas across the group to design and implement business strategic and operational service model and process changes
∎ Identify, advise, and deliver on solutions to complex problems, requiring a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation
∎ Develop implementation plans and partner with the business to ensure successful implementation
∎ Brings value-added “best practices” in program management to function heads, helping to drive focus towards the activities required to deliver on goals and achieve planned benefits
∎ Bring cultural change towards a customer-centric organization, focused on end to end customer experience, operational excellence, process management and efficiency, including training managers and employees
∎ Assesses ongoing and post-implementation transformation program progress/impact and synthesizes it for senior leaders
∎ Provides subject-matter expertise and industry best practices related to program management and organizational change management
∎ Guides and manages the team to structure analyses required to facilitate higher value from the transformation portfolio
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Must have understanding of multiple business areas and functions specially RMG
∎ Ability to structure complex problems and develop a data-driven approach to executing transformation programs
∎ Experience in facilitating meetings and working sessions
∎ Experience in Agile method & Lean management
∎ Superior consulting and advisory skills
