Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field from a reputed university.
Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CEH, CISM, or equivalent will be considered an added advantage.
Master’s degree in CS, IT, Cyber Security or related filed is preferable.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
In-depth knowledge of IT security frameworks, tools, and governance models.
Minimum 08 years of experience in IT Security, Information Security Governance, or Cybersecurity in any Bank.
At least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role within IT Security.
Proven track record in developing and implementing IT Security frameworks, policies, and controls.

A Leading Private Commercial Bank is looking for an experienced IT professional to join as Head of IT Security
Employment Status: Permanent (SEO to FAVP).
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the Bank’s IT Security operations to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems.
Develop, implement, and monitor IT security strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with regulatory guidelines and international standards.
Conduct advanced risk assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure proper configuration, management, and monitoring of firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, and other security solutions.
Investigate, respond to, and report on cybersecurity incidents, ensuring timely mitigation and preventive measures.
Provide leadership and technical expertise to guide IT security staff and foster skill development.
Collaborate with IT, business units, and regulators to ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank IT guidelines and relevant laws.
Stay updated with emerging threats, attack vectors, and advanced security technologies to strengthen the Bank’s cyber resilience.
