Responsibilities & Context:

A well-reputed manufacturing group is seeking a dynamic and strategic professional to lead its Information Technology (IT) function. The Head of IT will be responsible for shaping and executing the Group`s technology vision, ensuring robust IT operations, and driving digital transformation aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.

1. IT Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute the Group`s IT strategy in alignment with business goals.

  • Lead digital transformation initiatives and oversee technology roadmap implementation.

  • Plan and manage the IT department’s short-term and long-term goals, budgets, resources, systems, and vendor relationships.

  • Engage with user groups across the organization to gather feedback and prioritize system enhancements.

  • Drive innovation and technology adoption to support business scalability.

  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative IT culture focused on growth, accountability, and leadership development.

2. IT Infrastructure Management

  • Build and maintain a scalable and agile IT infrastructure that supports both current and future business operations.

  • Oversee third-party service providers to ensure cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.

  • Ensure high system availability, network reliability, and smooth IT operations across all business units.

3. IT Security & Data Protection

  • Lead the development and implementation of IT security frameworks and cybersecurity protocols.

  • Mitigate security risks through proactive monitoring and best-practice solutions.

  • Ensure full compliance with data protection laws and industry standards to prevent data breaches and cyber threats.

4. IT Applications & Business Systems

  • Develop and maintain a business systems roadmap aligned with overall IT strategy.

  • Oversee the development, integration, and enhancement of enterprise applications and ERP systems.

  • Ensure seamless business processes through collaborative work with internal teams and external partners.

  • Promote continuous improvement in system performance, stability, and user experience.

  • Manage system upgrades, releases, and patches while minimizing disruption.

5. IT Support & Operations

  • Lead a skilled team of IT engineers and support staff to provide prompt and effective support across all group companies.

  • Optimize IT service desk operations to ensure fast response to internal stakeholders.

  • Enhance team capability through training, performance management, and leadership development.

6. Budgeting & Resource Optimization

  • Prepare and manage the annual IT operating and capital expenditure budgets.

  • Ensure cost-effective IT investments with measurable ROI.

  • Monitor and control technology expenses to align with business targets.
