Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduation in any discipline or Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering from any reputed institution.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Execute the operational policies, procedures, and processes of Aarong in a sustainable way and provide standard quality products as well as generate employment opportunities for the empowerment of disadvantaged rural women
∎ Oversee all operations to ensure short and long-term strategic goals and objectives are being met
∎ Drive organizational growth to achieve production targets, revenue, profitability, and artisan development targets
∎ Oversee the fiscal activities of the organization including budgeting, reporting, audit, and work with stakeholders to ensure financing to support short- and long-term goals
∎ Manage the organizational structure and effectiveness through constant evaluation of policies and procedures
∎ Ensure sustainability of production centre operations while meeting the development needs of staff and artisans
∎ Coordinate development of annual production operations plan and budget
∎ Motivate and lead a high-performance management team; attract, recruit and retain required members of the executive team
∎ Ensure legal compliance with respect to production centre operations, human resource management, and other regulatory issues
∎ Represent the organization to all external parties and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
∎ Develop the Industrial Engineers as per the requirement to implement the new IE concepts.
∎ Implement new improvised concepts in all production areas
∎ Calculate standard minute value (SMV) for individual operations
∎ Make a training need analysis (TNA) calendar for all production units and ensure the on-time deliveries
∎ Fix Targets to Lines as well as Individual Operators
∎ Calculate Plant Efficiency and Individual Efficiency
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 38 years
∎ At least 12 years of relevant experience
∎ Strong leadership with the ability to manage upper management employees and provide direction for employees at all levels.
∎ Great decision-making and problem-solving skills as well as time management skills to monitor and evaluate the performance of multiple departments.
∎ Excellent knowledge of the garments and textile industry.
∎ Knowledge of production planning, production management, and Industrial Production Engineering.
∎ Expertise in developing SOP for all steps of textiles and garments production.
