Job Purpose

The Manager Head Of – Finance & Accounts  will lead the organization’s financial operations, ensuring strong financial planning, control, compliance, and strategic decision-making to support sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Control

• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

• Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with standards and regulations

• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial health

• Strengthen internal controls and financial procedures
  
  Budgeting, Forecasting & Cost Control

• Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts

• Analyze variance and provide actionable insights

• Implement cost control measures and improve efficiency
  
  Financial Reporting & MIS

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Develop MIS reports and financial dashboards

• Support management with data-driven financial insights
  
  Taxation & Compliance

• Manage VAT, Income Tax, withholding tax, and statutory compliance

• Ensure timely submission of returns and regulatory filings

• Handle tax planning within legal frameworks
  
  Banking & Treasury Management

• Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions

• Manage cash flow, payments, and fund utilization

• Negotiate loans, credit facilities, and banking arrangements

  
  Policy & SOP Development

• Develop and implement financial policies and SOPs

• Ensure compliance with company financial procedures

• Strengthen governance and risk management practices
  
  Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and manage the Accounts & Finance team

• Monitor performance and provide mentorship

• Promote accountability, accuracy, and ethical practices
  
  Educational Requirements

• BBA in Accounting/Finance

• MBA in Accounting/Finance

• Professional Qualification: CA (CC preferred / completed) or ACCA
  
  Experience Requirements

• 5–8 years of relevant experience

• Mandatory requirement: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Head of Department (HOD) or similar leadership role 

• Prior experience in a senior or managerial role is mandatory

• Experience in skincare, retail, FMCG, e-commerce, or service industry preferred
  
  Additional Requirements

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and corporate finance

• Experience in building finance functions, SOPs, and control systems

• Proficiency in ERP software, MS Excel, and reporting tools

• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
