Job Context:
∎ We are looking for an experienced Head of Factory Operations to control, plan, direct and coordinate all factory operations. He will be responsible for improving performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability through the implementation of effective methods and strategies. He will manage a team of managers and other direct reports. He will be the highest-ranking individual in the factory and will be responsible for the overall success of the business.
∎ The ideal candidate will be a strategist and a leader being able to steer the factory in the most profitable direction while also implementing its vision, mission, and long-term goals.
∎ The goal is to ensure the factory is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short-term and long-term objectives and does not diverge from its strategic guidelines.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to preset goals.
∎ Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.
∎ Ensure production output, product quality, and on-time shipping.
∎ Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
∎ Implement strategies in alignment with forecasted demand and take strategic initiatives to provide a clear sense of direction in Factory Operation.
∎ Establish a trust relationship with work group and recruit, manage and develop plant staff
∎ Committing to plant safety procedures
∎ Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return from assets.
∎ Address employees' issues and take necessary actions where applicable.
∎ Stay up to date with the latest production management best practices and concepts.
∎ Manage all equipment with preventative maintenance activities required at a certain interval.
∎ Prepare & implement monthly & yearly production plan and budget.
∎ Ensure that all the SOP's of managerial & operational activities, as well as internal and external stakeholders, are being followed & take actions if any violence is found.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Proven experience as Head of Factory or Managerial position
∎ Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and production plans
∎ Thorough knowledge of market and technology changes and forces that influence the company
∎ Strong understanding of production and measures of performance
∎ Familiarity with factory compliance and management best practices
∎ Excellent organizational and leadership skills
∎ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
∎ Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
