Job Responsibilities:
∎ Organizing, training, and supervising the community health workers team in terms of planning and organizing their work, participating in training and evaluating its needs, regularly visiting communities under his/her responsibility, elaborating relevant material and establishing adequate strategies for delivering the focused information to the community.
∎ Ensuring delivery of information to community regarding hygiene, diseases and its prevention, using proper tools and informing communities about MSF and the services it provides
∎ Monitoring, collecting and reporting to the medical team any information linked to the living conditions and the health situation of the population (e.g. food security, vaccination status, nutritional situation, detection of medical needs of the population, number of people arriving or leaving the community, births and deaths in the community, vaccination status of children, etc.).
∎ Maintaining confidentiality regarding all information observed or registered.
∎ Reporting to line manager or medical team if there are people with medical problems, any difficulties that the CHWs might encounter during meetings with the population and any loss or damage of MSF materials and equipment
∎ MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities:
∎ Organizing and supervising community health activities:
∎ Assisting to improve the quality and effectiveness of Community Health Education work in community.
∎ Coordinating of MSF disease surveillance systems as needed, and promptly reports of any potential epidemic diseases seen in the community.
∎ Ensuring that the data collected by the Community Health Educator is timely, checked, compiled and reported on a regular basis.
∎ Assists with the development of educational tools and contribute towards the development of the program.
∎ On regular basis reports to the Health Promotor Supervisor the progress of the daily activities in the field.
∎ Health promotion activities:
∎ Building relationships within the targeted community groups to explain the aims of the MSF health activities.
∎ Responsible for accurate data collection and completion of paper work, collects reports before submitting them to the Health Promotor Supervisor for reporting.
∎ Team supervision and support:
∎ Provides inputs on staff evaluation to Health Promotor Supervisor and the expat Nurse; (where as evalaution meetings are done by Health Promotor Supervisor).
∎ Assist in defining the training needs of Community Health Educators (keeping project objectives).
∎ Ensures that necessary stationery and equipment is available for his/her teams for outreach community health and education.
∎ Planning of leave of the team members, along with Health Promotor Supervisor.
∎ Collaborating with clinic:
∎ Follow up on the feedback received from the community regarding different medical departments in collaboration with Health Promotor Supervisor.
∎ To sensitize team members on available services of the clinic and modification of services in the different clinical departments.
∎ Other Activities:
∎ On request support in gapfilling and emergencies response.

∎ Languages: Chittagonian

Salary:
∎ Contract length: Six months (06 Months with 3 months probationary period) Benefits: Salary according to level Four (04) of the internal MSF salary grid. 2 annual leave days per month worked. Medical insurance for employee and direct dependents Others: No relocation allowance shall be provided
