Lead regional and branch-wise business plans and sales budgets, monitor monthly/quarterly performance, and take corrective actions to ensure achievement of ABP and reforecast commitments.
Drive CASA, term deposit, payroll, institutional and high-net-worth deposit mobilization through branches, with clear targets for volume, mix and cost of deposits.
Promote cross-selling of banking products and services to enhance customer relationships
Ensure robust account-opening governance, KYC/AML standards, and deposit pricing discipline within delegated authority and bank policy.
Take overall accountability for asset quality of branch-sourced portfolios, including SMA, classified loans, write-off and recovery performance.
Implement early warning systems, delinquency triggers and portfolio review routines; drive preventive actions such as restructuring/rescheduling as per policy and regulatory guidelines.
Coordinate with Special Asset Management/Recovery teams for difficult cases, support legal actions, and monitor recovery strategies to reduce NPL ratio and credit cost.
Lead branch-driven sales of debit and credit cards, merchant acquiring (POS/PG), and other payment products to Retail, SME and Wholesale clients.
Set activation, usage, spend and portfolio quality targets for card business sourced through branches, and ensure effective charge-back, fraud monitoring and limit management in coordination with Cards & Risk units.
Integrate card and payment solutions into relationship offerings (e.g., payroll, SME working capital, wholesale transaction banking) to increase fee income and customer stickiness.
Maintain strong operational control, AML/CFT compliance, Service Quality and regulatory adherence across the network, ensuring timely closure of internal audit, Bangladesh Bank inspection and Compliance observations.
Ensure timely reporting and implementation of Head Office instructions.
Provide leadership, coaching and performance management to Regional Heads, Cluster/Area Managers and Branch Managers, ensuring clear KPIs, result differentiation and succession planning.
