Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduation/Post-graduation in Accounting/Finance from any UGC-approved university
∎ Certified Member of any professional Accountants body is preferable

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead to prepare, establish, review, and update the policy & procedures of Accounts Payable
∎ Own the Accounts Payable processes and sub-processes. Ensure proper documentation of the processes and sub-processes in relation to the Accounts Payable
∎ Lead to establish end-to-end internal control over the Accounts payable process and the internal control risk and design control accordingly to mitigate risks
∎ Communicate all policy, standard, and internal control requirements to stakeholders. Provide required finance training for non-finance stakeholders and drive awareness sessions for internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with the internal control process and IFRS
∎ Lead payment operations in a business capacity in terms of management, enhancements, development, and execution per company policy. Enhance and drive adoption of digital disbursement solutions with improved customer experience and security.
∎ Own & manage financial systems to recognize all accruals & payments
∎ Collaborate and build stakeholder partnerships through the transparent exchange of information, ideas, and perspectives to enable the achievement of the company's goals Drive innovation and developments across Finance interacting channels by enriching functionality, creating a platform for business support, and developing and delivering strategic transformation projects in line with Finance strategy
∎ Analyze & implement driver-based cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with cost owners and the sourcing team. Contribute to working capital management with analytical insights and execution of agreed initiatives.
∎ Cooperate with internal and external SOX testers to assess the operational effectiveness of the control; Facilitate financial auditor (external & internal), compliance audit, group procurement process audit, and special due diligence engagements; Facilitate other regulatory audits to provide the necessary information.
∎ Develop a highly engaged team towards the company process. Build and lead a motivated cross-functional team for Finance operation through training, communication, performance management, development plans, reward/recognition, job rotation, and job swap practices.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 10-12 years of total experience inclusive of 5-6 years of relevant experience in a managerial role in the Telecom Industry.
∎ In-depth understanding of Telecom business process & systems.
∎ Able to Interpret, Analyze & apply International Accounting Standards IAS and IFRS and Group guidelines in new & complex business scenarios.
∎ Thorough understanding of Taxation Regulations I.e. Income Tax & VAT etc.
∎ Sound knowledge of Audit Standards.
∎ Through understanding applicable BTRC rules & regulations
∎ Proven record & competency in Accounting & Reporting, and Statutory Reporting Regulations
∎ Hands on experience of Internal Control Policies and Processes
∎ Proficiency in accounting software is mandatory, preferably Oracle ERP.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills to deal with diverse business partners
