Job Context:
∎ This is a senior management position based at the Head Office in Dhaka, and will involve taking significant responsibility of the Accounts and Finance department, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
∎ Summary: This position has significant responsibility for the Company`s financial administration including preparation and presentation of financial reports to the Directors and regulatory authorities, recommending actions and counseling on financial management, control, profitability, etc. and participating in setting strategic direction, determination of areas for profitability, cost benefit analysis, etc.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintenance and Preparation of accounts as per requirements of Bangladesh Bank, Companies Act, and other regulatory bodies in compliance with international accounting standards.
∎ Checking and supervision of various activities of Company's Accounts & Finance Department:
∎ Periodic and Final Accounts including products and other required costing
∎ Periodic and Yearly Budget and projected Accounts
∎ I.T. Return and required schedules for Assessment of Income Tax
∎ Monitoring of business plan, setting standards, measuring performance as well as monthly analysis of budget variance and taking corrective actions for achieving targets.
∎ To maintain liaison with the Financial Institutions, Government/Semi-Government Offices including VAT, Income Tax and Non-Government concerned offices for Company's various work.
∎ To oversee Fund and Loan management of the Company.
∎ Maintenance of statutory Books and Records and arrangement of holding BOD, AGM, EGM and getting accepted the Annual Returns.
∎ Planning, designing and implementation of effective management information systems.
∎ Various types of official correspondences.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 20 years' experience directly relating to Accounts/Finance in a reputable Manufacturing Company
∎ Experience with ERP systems
∎ Excellent analytical/problem solving skills and communication/presentation/organizational skills
Salary:
∎ The designation and salary will be negotiated based on seniority and experience.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Our staff benefits (upon confirmation) include Provident Fund contribution (10% of basic), Festival Bonus (3 months basic), Gratuity (2 months basic/year, after 5yrs), Worker's Profit Participation fund, Group Life Insurance (36 months basic), and Leave encashment (maximum 24 days gross).
