Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Should have sound knowledge & experience in factory Powerhouse/Generator operation, maintenance & management for all Gas Engine.
∎ Should have basic knowledge on Generators, Transformers, Switch-Gear, Motors, Compressors, Inverter, Pump, Hydraulic, Conveyor, Generator Jacket water check etc.
∎ Plan & schedule for monthly maintenance.
∎ Handle ongoing operation of Power & Energy Division.
∎ Co-operate to relevant department for the better productivity of the power.
∎ Oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of gas generator units to ensure reliable and uninterrupted power supply.
∎ Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans and strategies to minimize downtime and enhance the reliability of gas generator systems.
∎ Lead a team of skilled technicians and engineers in executing maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and overhauls of gas generators.
∎ Coordinate with procurement and inventory management teams to ensure the availability of spare parts and consumables necessary for gas generator maintenance.
∎ Monitor key performance indicators of gas generator systems, analyze data, and implement measures to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
∎ Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in all gas generator-related activities.
∎ Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance shutdowns, commissioning of new equipment, and integration of gas generator systems with the utility network.
∎ Prepare reports, budgets, and forecasts related to gas generator operations and maintenance activities.
∎ Any other task assigned by the management.
