Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall Operations Management: The GM oversees all aspects of the restaurant's day-to-day operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
∎ Manage and support Government Officials: Managing and supporting VAT, Tax, Fire service, Food safety, City corporation, mobile court & other relevant government officials. Ensure the restaurant is always safe and free from external parties’ interference.
∎ Upgrade Business: Through proper strategic business planning ensure business growth.
∎ Staff Management: Hiring, training, scheduling, and managing restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, hosts/hostesses, and barista.
∎ Customer Service: Ensuring high-quality customer service and handling any customer complaints or issues that arise.
∎ Financial Management: Budgeting and financial planning to achieve profitability targets. This includes monitoring expenses, analyzing sales data, and implementing cost-control measures.
∎ Inventory Management: Managing restaurant inventory, including food, beverages, and supplies. Minimizing waste and ensuring proper stock levels are maintained.
∎ Menu Development: Collaborating with chefs to create or modify menus to meet customer preferences and keep up with industry trends.
∎ Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring the restaurant complies with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for both customers and staff.
∎ Marketing and Promotions: Implementing marketing strategies to attract customers and increase sales. This may involve running promotions, organizing events, and managing social media presence.
∎ Vendor and Supplier Relations: Negotiating contracts with suppliers and maintaining good relationships with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
∎ Sales and Revenue Management: Monitoring sales performance and identifying opportunities for revenue growth.
∎ Training and Development: Providing ongoing training and development for staff to enhance their skills and maintain a high level of service.
∎ Business Analysis and Reporting: Analyzing business performance through data and generating reports for higher management.
∎ Maintaining Standards: Ensuring that the restaurant maintains consistent quality standards, adheres to brand guidelines (if applicable), and complies with company policies.
∎ Community Engagement: Engaging with the local community and participating in community events to build a positive reputation for the restaurant.
∎ Meeting Regulatory Requirements: Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to operating a restaurant business.
∎ Crisis Management: Handling unexpected situations and emergencies effectively, such as equipment breakdowns, power outages, or customer incidents.
∎ Any other task assigned by MD Sir.
