Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide the vision leadership and strategy to inspire the associates to deliver exceptional service to drive financial success.
∎ Work with head of departments to establish goals and objectives that coordinate with the overall hotel wide goals and objectives.
∎ Enable innovation and drive results by executing sales and marketing campaigns, understanding dynamic revenue management and driving profit to the bottom line through strong financial controls.
∎ Evaluate change to guest's needs, the hotel's guest mix and comprehensive trends to recommend appropriate services and operational changes to ensure guest and employee satisfaction.
∎ Demonstrate promote team among all management and staff while creating an environment in which all associates reach their full potential.
∎ Participates in the development and implementation of business strategies for the Hotel which are aligned with Brand's overall mission, vision values and strategies.
∎ Develops and implements revenue generation strategies that support achievement of the Hotel's financial goals.
∎ Monitors hotel performance and forecast regularly and adjusts strategies as required
∎ Develops the annual hotel budget in conjunction with the Executive Team and in line with Corporate Budget Instructions.
∎ Achieves market share and revenue goals.
∎ Creates and implements marketing strategies which are designed to increase awareness in the local market.
∎ Maintains a high level of awareness of hotel competitor set performance and local market opportunities.
∎ Review of all business opportunities to ensure profitability levels are acceptable.
∎ Prepare the annual operating budget.
∎ Recommends any items to be included in the capital budget and ensure adherence with the approved budget.
∎ Monitors actual versus budgeted expenses and takes corrective action where required.
∎ Provides employees with the orientation and training needed to understand expectations and perform job responsibilities.
∎ Provides employees with coaching and counseling as needed to achieve performance objectives and reach their fullest potential.
∎ Drives employee engagement through the creation and implementation of departmental action plans.
∎ Ensure thorough understanding and revision of department policies and procedures are undertaken and followed by all existing and new department team members.
∎ Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other hotel employees to foster and promote a co-operative and harmonious working environment.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 45 to 55 years
∎ At least 20 year(s) experience in hospitality industry and at least 12 years as hotel General manager.
∎ Proven track record of delivering excellent guest service scores/3rd party review sites.
∎ Maximize profit through financial planning and analysis.
∎ Strong communication skills.
∎ Experience managing to brand standards
∎ Experience managing owner relationship
∎ Able to resolve conflicts; guests, supervisor and employee
∎ Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork
∎ Knowledge or hotel operations including; preparation of business plans, budget forecasting, quality assurance program, hospitality law, and long-range planning.
