  • Master’s degree in economics, accounting, banking, finance, business management or related field.

  • At least 15 years of experience in program operation especially in microfinance/financial institutions and its management.

  • Good understanding on PKSF program and commercial borrowing for fund management of microfinance institute.

  • Supervision and staff management capacity for Head office and Field Offices.

  • Analytical capacity.

  • Have capacity for resource mobilization.

  • Ability to explore and identify new funding opportunities, negotiate with financial institutions, write, submit and pursue project proposals etc.

  • Ability to build good working relations with existing and potential development partners.

  • Excellent communication skill both in English and Bangla.

  • Have clear concept and ideas on digital financial services (DFS).

  • Market analysis and research capacity.

  • Ability to conduct training, meetings, seminars and workshops.

  • Ability to coordination, communication and networking with different stakeholders.

  • To ensure supportive supervisory services as mentor, coach and guide.

  • Ability to develop monitoring tools and techniques.

  • Ability to handle stress situation.

Responsibilities & Context:
  • Responsible for effectiveness and efficiency of the branches, team development, team morale and implementation of micro-finance code of conduct at the various levels in operations.
  • Oversee full operational effectiveness of the Special Programs of the organization like Health, Education and others.
  • Develop strategies to minimize customer complaints and suggest ways of managing the public image of the Organization.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, financial institutions, industry associations, and other relevant partners.
  • Liaise with the Finance team to ensure timely preparations of annual budget , quarterly budget review, forecasts and business plans.
  • Develop relationships with potential clients as well as existing clients with the view to strengthening the Company’s client relationship base.
  • Analyze the microfinance environment and make recommendations on the development of new microfinance products and enhance existing products to grow the organisation’s customer base and outreach
  • Appraise the operational system in place and monitor the implementation of the organisation’s operation manuals and proposing appropriate recommendation regarding the need for change.
  • Responsible for delivering budgeted results of all Branches.
  • Co-ordinate the activities of all branches and handle all operational issues including automation, change management and balancing of books.
  • Undertake in depth branches visits regularly to ensure operations are running smoothly.
  • Provide on the job training to all department staff, including new recruits and existing staff.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of robust risk assessment and management procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and minimizing potential financial risks.
  • Create strategic direction and handle of identifying, measuring, controlling and monitoring the risks of all Programs and its management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Heads of all Divisions and units.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned from time to meet the objectives of the Organization.
