Responsibilities & Context:
Oversee corporate tax planning, VAT compliance, and regulatory filings
Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards
Develop tax-efficient strategies to minimize liabilities and enhance profitability
Manage relationships with tax authorities, auditors, and financial institutions
Lead the preparation of annual financial statements, tax returns, and audits
Oversee internal controls and risk management processes
Work closely with the Accounts, Finance, and Compliance teams to streamline operations
Stay updated with Bangladesh tax laws, budget implications, and policy changes
