• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting

• Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) is mandatory.

• Additional qualifications such as ACA/FCA, ACCA, CMA, FCMA or equivalent will be considered an added advantage.

• 15 to 20 years

• Age 50 to 60 years

• Seasoned finance leader with 15–20 years of senior leadership experience across diversified industries·

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in Finance and Accounts.

• At least 5 years in a senior leadership position such as CFO, Head of Finance, Financial Controller, or General Manager (Finance & Accounts).

• Experience in the Real Estate, Construction, Infrastructure, or Developer sector will be given strong preference.

• Proven experience in corporate finance, project financing, taxation, budgeting, financial planning, treasury management, and statutory compliance.

• Strong leadership and strategic decision-making ability.

• Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS/IAS, taxation, VAT, corporate finance, and financial reporting.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing cost control, project financing, and group consolidation.

• Expertise in ERP and financial management systems.

• Excellent leadership, analytical, and strategic planning skills.

• Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.High level of integrity, professionalism, and business ethics.

• Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills·

As part of our continued growth and commitment to financial excellence, we are looking for a dynamic, strategic, and results-oriented finance professional to join our leadership team in the following position:

Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire spectrum of Financial Management, Accounting, Budgeting, and Treasury Operations of the Group.

• Develop and implement the Company's overall financial strategy aligned with business objectives.

• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and internal control systems to ensure transparency and accountability.

• Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to support business growth and decision-making.

• Manage funding, cash flow, and liquidity, ensuring optimal use of financial resources.

• Supervise the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, MIS reports, and consolidated accounts.

• Provide strategic financial advice to the Board and Management to support corporate objectives.

• Present financial reports and strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors, and other stakeholders.

• Drive cost optimization, risk management, and investment decisions for sustainable growth.

• Lead and develop the Finance & Accounts team across group entities to enhance capacity and performance.

• Lead the Finance, Accounts, Tax, VAT, Treasury, Internal Audit, and Budgeting functions.

• Prepare and oversee annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial planning.

• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

• Ensure full compliance with the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, VAT laws, RJSC requirements, Bangladesh Bank regulations (where applicable), and other statutory obligations.

• Establish and strengthen internal financial controls, risk management systems, and corporate governance practices.

• Monitor project costing, profitability analysis, investment decisions, and financial performance.

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities.

• Drive process automation, ERP implementation, and digital transformation within the finance function.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and operational excellence.

• Any other tasks as assigned by the Management of PPL.
