Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and participate in the development of the strategic/annual audit plan; this defines the audit assignments to be done annually,
∎ Establish international auditing standards in evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of operating systems and controls and prepares audit reports detailing audit findings and recommendations,
∎ Lead the planning and execution of audit engagements. Properly and adequately document the work done for understanding the business and due process of the department/section/ function under review
∎ Measure performance of audit assignments, review work papers and audit reports; edit reports prepared by other auditors and accounts managers,
∎ Outline schedules and plan audit assignments; initiate project planning, assess risk and develop audit direction.
∎ Perform audit works, and validate the accuracy of financial records as they pertain to the group’s assets, liabilities, receipts, expenditures, and related transactions.
∎ Supervise and conduct independent audits. Regularly update senior management regarding the status of the ongoing audit engagements, including key findings and constraints being faced,
∎ Review the work allocation to ensure that the team assigned possesses the requisite knowledge, skills and other competencies required to complete the audit assignment,
∎ Drafts and finalizes Internal Audit Reports; reviews the internal controls exception sheets submitted by the Senior Internal Auditors,
∎ Provide technical expertise on any assigned duties and take the responsibility for updating the knowledge base and skills required for the execution of the internal audit assignments on a regular basis
∎ Provide appropriate instructions and guidelines during the execution of the audit assignment to achieve the audit objectives, and resolve issues with the department/section/function under review.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 38 to 48 years
∎ Extensive past experience in managing and administering internal audit functions in a large enterprise.
∎ Significant experience in policy formulation and rollout that have a long-term impact on organization functions.
∎ A strong strategic and business mindset.
∎ Complex decision-making ability within a period involving known and uncertain variables.
∎ High level of analytical abilities and personality characteristics.
