As part of its ongoing growth and commitment to excellence, the company is looking for qualified and highly experienced professionals to join its Finance & Accounts Department.

Position:

The General Manager - Finance & Accounts will be responsible for overseeing and driving the financial health, operational efficiency, and compliance of the organization. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee finance, accounting, and costing frameworks, including the preparation of financial statements and MIS reports for management.
  • Supervise and guide teams handling accounting, budgeting, controlling, and tax/VAT matters to ensure accurate reporting, timely closures, and smooth daily operations.
  • Stay updated on financial policies, tax regulations, and industry trends to optimize the company’s financial management and tax strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including tax planning, employee tax optimization (e.g. employees’ investment for tax rebate), and finalizing company tax assessments.
  • Ensure adherence to financial legislation, policies, and procedural compliance.
  • Collaborate with business units to ensure timely submission of documents for effective fund management.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and fairly presented.
  • Prepare and deliver financial reports, MIS statements, and ad-hoc analysis as required by management or the board.
  • Assist in preparing monthly cash flow statements and managing cash flow projections.
  • Support in investment management in JVCO, Associated, Subsidiaries and Sister concerns as per requirements for accounting and operational matters.
  • Oversee quarterly monitoring of receivables, payables, advances, and provisions in collaboration with business units.
  • Coordinate with auditors, address audit findings, and ensure resolution of audit points.
  • Provide strategic support for mergers, acquisitions, and other business decisions.
  • Identify areas for financial performance improvement and recommend cost-saving solutions and revenue-enhancing strategies.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
