Context:
The General Manager (GM) plays a key leadership role in overseeing and managing the overall operations of multiple departments within the Company. The GM ensures that each department functions efficiently, aligns with the company’s strategic goals, and contributes to sustainable business growth. The position requires strong leadership, analytical ability, and coordination skills to maintain operational excellence, financial stability, and team productivity across all units of the Company.
Responsibilities:
Supervise daily operations across all assigned departments to ensure smooth coordination and efficiency.
Communicate company vision, goals, and updates effectively to all departments.
Prepare and present regular reports on operational, financial, and strategic performance to the Managing Director.
Must handle and resolve all necessary matters with the local Govt. and licensing authorities.
Monitor key performance indicators of each department and take corrective actions when necessary.
Lead business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the Company.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, statutory regulations, and quality standards.
Develop and implement short- and long-term business strategies to achieve company objectives.
Provide guidance and direction to Department Heads (Administration, HR, Accounts & Finance, Operations, Marketing, etc.).
Coordinate inter-departmental collaboration to achieve organizational synergy and minimize operational gaps.
Evaluate departmental performance and set clear objectives and accountability standards.
Oversee financial planning, cost control, and resource allocation.
Approve major expenditures and monitor the company’s financial health.
Ensure transparency and integrity in all financial and administrative activities.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to enhance company growth.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
Represent the company in external meetings, partnerships, and industry forums.
Ensure proper workforce planning, recruitment, and retention strategies.
He/She shall be obliged to perform an any other duties assigned by the authority.
