Job Context:
∎ The Gender & Inclusion Coordinator under the supervision of the GBV Advisor will contribute technically in implementing GFA gender activities and system to achieve the project objectives. The Gender & Inclusion Coordinator will also work closely with the GBV Advisor in technical areas to ensure gender integration.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Gender & Inclusion Coordinator will develop and manage Gender initiatives for all program components within General Food Assistance.
∎ Assist in providing technical support and training in Gender approaches for various program stakeholders and for all program components
∎ Coordinate with the gender stakeholders to develop integrated gender mainstreaming approaches
∎ Provide support and technical assistance to the general food assistance team and attend monthly Gender task force meetings
∎ Draft or contribute to other project reports and presentations on activities as requested and provide data analysis and report writing related to gender mainstreaming
∎ Provide advice to management team on gender related issues, concerns, trends and policies
∎ Perform other duties assigned by the Gender Specialist
∎ Implementation of protection and SGBV standards at camp level
∎ Networking and creating linkages with protection partners in camps for support in implementation
∎ Create a referral pathway for protection cases and follow-up of these cases.
∎ Conduct community dialogue meetings in the camps

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in Gender and protection to an NGO or equivalent
∎ Able to proactively identify and address issues.
∎ Strong communication skills, with good written and spoken English.
∎ Experience of establishing strong working relationships with colleagues from different functions and cultures
∎ A Minimum of 5 years gender and protection related work experience
∎ Professional, motivated, open, creative, mature, responsible, flexible and, culturally sensitive
∎ Strong organizational and analytical skills, and ability to work under pressure
∎ Excellent verbal and written skills in English
∎ Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel, spreadsheets
∎ Previous experience with Food Assistance programming
∎ Strong interpersonal and community norms understanding
