Responsibilities & Context:

Calculate SMV on garments sketch for costing before handing over to the merchandisers.

Determine standard minute value to set up production target and planning.

Make final layout for bulk production.

Work to enhance line balancing.

Prepare and maintain style wise layout and OB (operation breakdown).

Recommend the best methods of space, manpower, material and equipment utilization in production facilities.

Maintain record for time study data.

Ensure optimum use of man, machine, material and method.

Calculate thread consumption.

Provide train on method improvement, line balancing and layout preparation to floor IE officers and line chiefs.

Coordinate with planning department for allocation of similar styles, capacity plan, line plan and factory monthly plan based on the history of line and factory efficiency.

Assist IE & Planning team in conducting Capacity Analysis based on booking status and analyzed performance.
