∎ In-depth knowledge of the local real estate business.
∎ Good knowledge on Banking, Income Tax, VAT & Tax regulations, Companies acts, land laws and other relevant legal aspects.
∎ Practical knowledge on financial modeling, business KPI metrics and business turnaround strategies.
∎ Agile, proactive and change management ability.
∎ In-depth knowledge of the local real estate business.
∎ Good knowledge on Banking, Income Tax, VAT & Tax regulations, Companies acts, land laws and other relevant legal aspects.
∎ Practical knowledge on financial modeling, business KPI metrics and business turnaround strategies.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee Accounting Operations: Ensuring smooth functioning of the accounting department and accurate record-keeping.
∎ Prepare Financial Statements: Creating monthly and periodic financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
∎ Budgeting and Forecasting: Developing and managing budgets, forecasting future financial performance, and analyzing variances.
∎ Compliance: Ensuring adherence to accounting standards, regulations, tax laws and internal control policies.
∎ Financial Reporting: Providing financial data and insights to management for strategic decision-making.
∎ Working with External Auditors: Serving as the main point of contact for external auditors and ensuring smooth audit processes.
∎ Internal Control: Developing and maintaining strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
∎ Property Level Reporting: Reviewing property-level financial statements, budgets, and tenancy schedules.
∎ Deal Execution: Providing financial support for property acquisitions, disposals, and other transactions.
∎ Cash Management: Monitoring and managing cash flow, including cash distribution processes.
∎ Credit Recovery: Manage credit recovery processes for real estate projects.
∎ Risk Assessment: Identify and assess financial risks associated with real estate projects.
∎ Team Leadership: Lead, mentor and build a high performing finance & accounts team.
∎ The ideal candidate will be capable of overseeing and managing all financial aspects of the company's real estate projects and operations including ensuring accurate accounting records, compliance with regulations, providing financial data for decision-making, and compliance with relevant accounting standards. He will be playing a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability, growth, and profitability of the company's business.
