Sound understanding and compliance of safety and security issues relating to development and humanitarian work.
Supervisory responsibilities.
Good knowledge of English.
Good Accounting and Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.
Strong Report writing skill both Bangla & English.
Must have Computer knowledge (MS word, excel, PowerPoint, email, internet etc.)
Strong in English and capable to write quality report in English is necessary.
Strong ability in problem solving and decision-making.
Skilled in documentation, facilitation, presentation & reporting.
Willing to ride motorcycle in the field with valid driving license.

Community Development Centre (CODEC) invites application for the position of ‘‘Finance Officer (Field Level)’’ from the potential Bangladeshi nationals for implementing ‘‘The Blue Economy and Inclusive Development for Climate Justice (BID4CJ) project funded by OXFAM in Shatkhira and Cox`s Bazar.
Major Responsibilities:
Perform day to day project finance related activities and report directly to Finance Manager (FM) regarding all financial management issues.
Ensure consolidation of accounts, budget development, monitoring and evaluation.
In collaboration with Programme staff ensure project finance management
Validate the day to day and ongoing disbursement of programme funds.
Responsible for financial management (including Banking, cash flow and Asset management) across the programme.
Informing donor regarding financial issues ensuring compliance with donor requirements
Generating monthly, quarterly, annual and other relevant financial reports.
Assist the FM in development of the finance strategy
Ensure a proper filing system for donor financial contracts/agreement with all donor requirements.
Assist in audit preparations as per the donor requirements.
Coordinate regular meetings with on donor requirement related issues
Ensuring all costs is properly coded in the system by reviewing all purchase requisition and payment document.
Review and analyse vouchers and ensure donor`s procurement and compliances as adopted in the contract. Financial monitoring, and internal auditing.
Assist project manager in drafting the project annual development plan and FD-6.
Ensure the safety of team members (in respect to Prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse - PSEA) from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation.
Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
