Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Financial Management: Handle financial transactions using Tally software or similar accounting tools., CPI’s grant management systems, and maintain daily cash and bank operations, manage vouchers for all transactions, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
∎ Budget and Expense Oversight: Oversee expense documentation, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization.
∎ Cash Flow and Disbursements: Manage timely fund disbursement and maintain essential financial records.
∎ Financial Reporting: Assist in donor financial report generation, govt VAT/Withholding tax calculations, and ensure regulatory compliance.
∎ Audit and Compliance: Support audit processes and engagement, and maintain government compliance, including VAT, TAX deductions, and Revenue Stamp regulations.
∎ Document Management: Digitally store financial documents securely according to processes.
∎ Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other finance-related tasks as directed by the Supervisor.
∎ Coordinate and collaborate with Operations units regularly for information/ data/ and updates for better communication and implementation.
∎ Initiate efficient and effective mechanisms for enhancement of cross departmental coordination
∎ Support in preparation and facilitation of monthly Program & Operations Meeting.
∎ Regularly support staff in financial documents, processes, and build their capacity to ensure understanding and accuracy.
∎ Review and reconcile receipts and invoices for audit compliance.
∎ Monitor expenditures against budgets and compliance standards.
∎ Review/ cross check financial documents/ reports prior to donor submission

∎ Job Summary: GH-CPI is seeking a Finance Coordinator to manage financial operations in our emergency response programming in Cox’s Bazar. Under the guidance of the Senior Finance Coordinator, this role demands a mix of technical finance skills and the ability to work within a multifaceted network of stakeholders. Responsibilities include handling daily financial tasks like maintaining cash books, supporting payroll processes, assisting in financial report preparation and analysis, budgeting, and audit support. The role requires effective communication skills for collaboration within the organization and with external partners.
