Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Commerce background may prioritize)

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Job Nature : Contractual
∎ Duration of contract : Initially 05 months (Possibility of extension based on performance and need of the program).
∎ Duty station : (kalapara, Patuakhali/ Sharankhola, Bagerhat/ Paikgachha, Khulna).

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement field activities in the assigned areas of Sarankhola/ Kalapara/ Paikgacha as per program requirements and provide supports to program interventions when required.
∎ Maintain books of accounts of the program and ensure smooth functioning of the accounting systems and record keeping pertaining to the program.
∎ Maintain Fixed Asset Register and stock registers of Program.
∎ Assist the Finance and Admin Officer and Assistant Program Officer to prepare program Plan of Action, Program budget, periodical financial statements and reports.
∎ Check and verify bills and voucher received from Community Organizer-COs/Community Facilitators-CFs in line with agreed budget and ensuring submission of bills to Assistant Program Office timely manner.
∎ Ensure procurement of goods and service necessary for the program in accordance with the existing financial and procurement policy of BDRCS
∎ Assist Program Officer/Finance and Admin Officer (FAO) /District Coordinator (ULO) for any requirement as per demand of the program
∎ Assist to APO in organizing trainings, orientations, simulation exercise in coordination with CDMC, CDRT, CPP members and local stakeholders
∎ Ensure program resources are used properly and in case of any misuse or wrongdoing immediately bring it to the attention of the APO/PO/District Coordinator/SPOs etc
∎ Ensure organize monthly team coordination meetings and share the meeting minutes
∎ Support ensure all program files, records, archives and databases (documentation, meeting minutes, resolutions etc.) are kept in good order and updated when required
∎ Undertake any other appropriate duties that may be required by the BDRCS respective authority.
∎ Administrative role:
∎ Manage office supply stock and support to place order including preparation of reports on expenses and office budget.
∎ Support Organize a filing system for important and confidential office documents at respective sub district.
∎ Provide assistance to APO to maintain monthly work plan of program activities.
∎ Accountability:
∎ The Finance and Program support Assistant shall be accountable to the Assistant Program Officer/Respective Program Officer/Finance and Administrative Officer, respective ULO and Manager/Deputy Manager-Program and Finance -Coastal DRR Program.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2 years' experience in financial management, program/ project/ operation/ administration including development program supports to smoothly implementation
∎ Familiar with financial and programmatic report writing skills as well as well documentation
∎ Project cycle management skills: assessments, design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and strategic planning skills
∎ Skills and abilities:
∎ Common understanding on financial mechanism/procedure and standards
∎ Good experiences on event management including time management
∎ Experience in working with local communities, civil society and governments officials
∎ Organizing and planning skills, problems-solving skills
∎ Analytical and critical thinking skills
∎ Integrity & high standards of personal conduct
∎ Strong initiative and self-motivated, with a strong commitment to humanitarian principles
∎ Listening skills; Cultural sensitivity; Flexibility & adaptability; Team player and gender-sensitive
∎ Strong communication skills in both verbal and written English and Bangla
∎ Good experiences on event management including time management
∎ Fluent in English & Bangla
∎ Computer skills on MS word, Excel, Power point
∎ Personal qualities:
∎ Adhere to the 7 fundamental principles and values of Red Cross and Red Crescent movement
∎ Act at all times in accordance with the Code of Conduct and strong ethics with an ability to manage confidential data.
∎ Common understanding on Gender issues, CEA mechanism including other cross-cutting issues
∎ Ability and willingness to travel and stay in the field
∎ Ability to work independently as well as in a team
∎ Experience to work with a humanitarian response will be an added advantage
∎ Local inhabitants/ RCY experience will be given preference.
∎ Lateral relationships:
∎ Establish and ensure effective working relationships with members in the team and counterparts (if applicable)
∎ Assist to Program team based in District and HQ for any requirements

Salary:
∎ BDT 30,000.00/Month.
