Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee and manage the financial operations of the organization, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
∎ Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
∎ Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial transactions.
∎ Develop and manage annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
∎ Conduct financial analysis and recommend improvements to optimize cost efficiency and overall fund management.
∎ Ensure compliance with Tax & VAT laws and other relevant statutory requirements.
∎ Manage payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
∎ Liaise with external auditors and assist with the annual audit process.
∎ Ensure adherence of the organizational policies and practices in financial, administrative reporting.
∎ Identify areas of financial and operational risk and work on mitigation strategies.
∎ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
∎ Oversee administrative tasks, including office management, procurement, and facilities management.
∎ Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective functioning of office operations.
∎ Maintain filing systems, both physical and electronic, ensuring records are accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.
∎ Coordinate office supplies and inventory management, ensuring resources are available for operational needs.
∎ Streamline current administrative practices for smoother implementation and gather relevant data for programmatic decision making.
