Minimum 03 years of relevant experience in any university, NGO or large local organizations.
Technical Skill:
Proficient in MS Office applications, specially in MS-Excel.
Knowledge in “Tally”/latest accounting software is preferable.
Language Skill:
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both Bangla and English.

Major Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Budgeting: Assist in the development and implementation of the university’s financial plans and budgets, including forecasting revenues and expenses.
Accounts Payable & Receivable Management: Oversee the processing of payments to vendors, faculty, and staff, as well as the collection of receivables such as tuition fees, grants, and donations.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial reports, statements, and analyses for management and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
General Ledger Maintenance: Ensure the integrity of the general ledger by overseeing the recording of all financial transactions and conducting regular reconciliations.
Bank Reconciliation: Conduct and review monthly bank reconciliations to ensure that bank statements align with the university`s financial records.
Payroll Management: Supervise the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring accuracy in salary calculations, deductions, and disbursements.
Tax Compliance: Ensure the university’s compliance with all relevant tax regulations, including preparing and submitting tax returns and ensuring timely payment of taxes.
Audit Coordination: Facilitate internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation, responding to auditor queries, and implementing audit recommendations.
Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis to support decision-making, including cost-benefit analysis, variance analysis, and financial performance reviews.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the university’s cash flow, ensuring that funds are available to meet operational needs and investment opportunities.
Investment Management: Oversee the university`s investment portfolio, ensuring that funds are managed prudently and in alignment with the university’s financial strategy.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all financial regulations and university policies, including those related to financial reporting, procurement, and contract management.
Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, including maintaining appropriate levels of insurance and financial reserves.
Support for Financial Planning & Strategy: Contribute to the formulation of long-term financial strategies, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with various university departments, external agencies, and stakeholders to provide financial information, resolve issues, and ensure effective financial management.
Other Duties: Undertake any additional tasks or responsibilities assigned by senior management to support the university’s financial operations.
