Educational Requirements:
∎ Candidate must possess at least a Masters Degree/MBA in Finance/Accounting or other relevant discipline from reputed university;
∎ CA (CC) with partly qualified;

∎ The Company has been working as a full-fledged merchant bank in the arena of issue management, portfolio management, underwriting, private equity, merger & amalgamation and corporate advisory services.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements as per Bangladesh Accounting Standard (BAS) and other relevant rules and regulations & report to Chief Financial Officer for reporting to BSEC, Bangladesh Bank and Board of Directors.
∎ Coordinates and interacts with audit firms performing external audits of financial statements.
∎ Reconcile bank account, loan account and Inter-company accounts on monthly basis & report accordingly.
∎ Preparation of fixed assets schedule on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
∎ Check & Verify the vendors /suppliers' bill and other regular payments along with related documents and take approvals for arranging payments.
∎ Maintain & supervise all kind of vouchers, bill, general budget, bank & different registers related to finance & accounts.
∎ Supervise petty cash and cash in hand.
∎ Ensure Daily Fund management and priority basis planning for smooth operation.
∎ Correspondence with different banks, providing documents support to banks from time to time.
∎ Monitor the Tax & VAT related matters and maintain liaison with Tax & VAT authorities/consultant.
∎ Arrange and prepare documents relating board meeting and share holders meeting.
∎ Perform any other duties/responsibilities assigned by the management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Accounts, Finance, Internal Audit, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax)
∎ Candidate having experience in merchant bank will be preferred;
∎ Must be intelligent, hardworking and dedicated;
∎ Candidate should be a quick learner. He/She will have to be able to use accounting software as well as other software like MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook etc.;
∎ Good written and oral communication skills in English.
