Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Accounting
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Financial forecasting and budgeting the FM should create detailed financial projections, budgets, and financial statements to help guide the company’s decision making and ensure that it stays on track financially.
∎ Fundraising: the FM should play a key role in raising capital for the startup whether through venture capital, angel investors or other means.
∎ Cash management: Startups often have limited cash resources, so it is important for the FM to closely manage cash flow and make sure the company has enough money on hand to meet its obligations. Controlling cash burn is the single most important aspect of any business and it is most important for the FM to keep a very fine balance between the cash burn and the growth of the business. A keen focus on the path to profitability is extremely important for the startups.
∎ Cost management keeping expenses under control is crucial for a start-up and the FM should be closely monitoring costs to ensure they are in line with budget and projections.
∎ Risk management: identifying and mitigating potential financial risk to the company is crucial in order to protect the company’s assets and ensure its long-term success.
∎ Legal And regulatory compliance: The FM should Ensure that the company is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, Such as tax laws, securities laws and accounting standards.
∎ Accounting tax and audit: the FM should ensure that the company’s financial statements are accurate that taxes are filed and paid on time and that the company is ready for any audits.
∎ Financial and business metrics: The FM should be able to track and understand the key financial business metrics and monitor them to make sure the company is on track to reach its goals.
∎ Business strategy: FM should work closely with the CEO and the management team to understand the company’s long-term strategy and align the financial your plan accordingly.
∎ Investors relations: The FM should maintain a strong relationship with the company’s investors, keep them updated on the company’s financial performance and future plans and be prepared to answer their questions and concern.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 45 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ MBA or Master’s degree in relative majors (Finance and/or accounting).
∎ At least 7+ years working experience out of which at least 2+ years at managerial position.
∎ A self-starter with high sense of urgency.
∎ Readiness to take decisions, initiatives and be accountable.
∎ Ability to lead the transformation of a fast-growing organization.
∎ Passionate about developing people.
∎ Experience in start-ups, water sector, and/or fundraising is a plus.
Salary: Negotiable
