Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct variety of group activities at Pariborto Corners and community for women, youth and communities, particularly most marginalized groups
∎ Conduct group sessions with women, youth and men on women’s rights, GBV, women & youth participation, women’s empowerment
∎ Taking active role in follow up and close supervision to promote gender equality and prevent GBV.
∎ Conduct session in community with women to equip them with skills to deliver structured session to enhance knowledge of sexual reproductive heath and prevention of GBV in communities.
∎ Provide group and Individual psychosocial support activities to reduce stress, fear, panic attack and trauma.
∎ to ensure standard care is reached to affected community members.
∎ Supervise, training, coaching, mentoring, and monitoring community volunteers to prevent, mitigate and response GBV in communities.
∎ Support awareness raising campaign and event activities as needed by the supervisor.
∎ Maintain stock register, Assets ID information and all other relevant documents for proper operation of the project.
∎ Register women and youth who received care with segregated age-, sex-, location and report to Area Manager
∎ Document number of appropriated referring GBV cases to access to service providers and report daily to Area Manager.
∎ Maintain good coordination/ collaboration with other project staffs, local government officials, CBOs/CSOs, service providers, and other stakeholder.
∎ Ensure Safeguarding and PSEA polices in work.
∎ The Field Officer for the Parayan Project. The Field Officer position is primarily responsible for the implementation of youth/women protection community-based activities as part of the project response, in particular for vulnerable and at-risk communities and most vulnerable and disadvantaged groups. The Field Officer is responsible for arranging project meetings, Youth Club/Women’s Groups meetings, ensuring referrals for beneficiaries, and direct service provision of follow-up for vulnerable and at-risk communities, in line with their needs. He/she will also be responsible for providing support in Youth Club Members, Women Group Members, CBO Partner organizations and Pariborto Corners in line with internal standards and guidelines. The Field Officer is responsible for documenting information, capacity building of the direct beneficiaries and other stakeholders, supporting the communities through ensuring safeguarding/protection principles, ensuring data protection in line with internal protocols, for providing daily updates to the supervisor, and preparing regular reports.
