∎ SHEBA MANAB KALLYAN KENDRA -SMKK, a non-profit, non-political, Humanitarian and Development organization, established in January 1996. It is registered with NGO Affairs Bureau of Bangladesh. It is committed to serving the needy people and working towards various humanitarian and development programs such as Emergency Response, Recovery, Rehabilitation, DRR, Resilience, Climate Change Adaptation, Education, Health & Nutrition, Women Empowerment, WASH, Skill Development Training, Vocational Training, Disability Development, Agricultural & Sustainable Livelihood, Food Security, Seasonal Programs, Partnership and Resource Mobilization, Volunteer Development, CSR and Event Management. These programs are implemented in various region of Bangladesh supported by various donors. Since inception, SMKK has gained tremendous achievement through mobilization and implementation of multi sectoral projects and programs supported by multifarious donors/financial partners and Bangladesh Government.
∎ SMKK is currently going to recruit some Field Officers who will be responsible to implement field level activities in WASH and Livelihood sectors.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Field officer will be responsible for implementation of union level/field level activities (WASH & Livelihood Sectors).
∎ Maintain good working relationships with the community people.
∎ Select beneficiary following beneficiary selection criteria
∎ Formation of self-help savings groups and mobilize the groups for livelihood upliftment.
∎ Identify WASH vulnerable communities and assist to install water solutions as appropriate.
∎ Organize Training/meeting/workshop in the community and union level
∎ Liaison with local service providers/govt. officials local government representatives and ensure necessary support services for the selected beneficiaries.
∎ Conduct/assist to conduct awareness sessions on hygiene promotion, social norms and gender parity.
∎ Sensitize community people on disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation
∎ Prepare monthly work plan, report and submission regularly
∎ Undertake any other activities as directed by supervisor/SMKK management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 40 years
∎ Candidates who have readiness/willingness to work with the venerable communities in the south-west coastal region should apply.

Salary: Tk. 15000 - 20000 (Monthly)
