Job Context:

ESDO is one of the most dynamic organizations expanding its development interventions across 273 upazilas under 49 districts of Bangladesh covering over 10 million poor and vulnerable people.
∎ ESDO in Partnership Unilever Bangladesh and Plan International Bangladesh is going to implement DOVE Self Esteemed Project in Jaldhaka Upazila under Nilphamari district, ESDO is seeking to hire the qualified, committed and dedicated person according to the following conditions.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Field Officer will be responsible to prepare comprehensive training need, develop training plan and conduct training for school teachers and peer educators independently.
∎ Monitor the school level and community level planned sessions sessions and roll out parent module with selected parents of adolescent and maintain proper documentation.
∎ Each Field Officer will be responsible for 5 schools, 15 parenting groups and 150 peers to peer groups.
∎ Facilitated parenting session for father and mother of the selected students at community level
∎ Conduct day to day monitoring of school teacher to roll out DOVE Self Esteemed Module at school level and identify the gaps and provide effective feedback to the teachers to achieve the module outcomes.
∎ Monitor safeguarding culture at all level of the project activities and reporting & responding of incident happened.
∎ Prepare field visit schedule/plan at the beginning of the month and submit to the Project Manager accomplish the all targeted activities as per plan.
∎ Support to Monitoring Officer to make sure appropriate M&E system is developed and in place and support in data collection and analysis for baseline, periodic monitoring, case study, special study and experience capitalization of the project.
∎ In-depth knowledge on secondary education system in Bangladesh and curriculum of secondary education.
∎ Expert in training need assessment of peer educator and training curriculum design, development and facilitate for the student of secondary education.
∎ Report writing skills as per organization requirement in Bangla and English
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly progress report both qualitative and quantitative and submit to the Project Manager.
∎ Maintain excellent interpersonal relationship with relevant stakeholders and the project team
∎ 80% field work to assist in implementation of project activities and other 20% desk work for planning, communication and necessary documentation and reporting.
∎ Comply with ESDO and Plan International Bangladesh policies and practices (child protection, HR, gender responsive safeguarding, health and safety, gender, and other procedures.
∎ Reporting to the Project Manager
∎ Attend regular monthly meeting and share the progress and lacking of the ongoing activities in a prescribed format and recommendation.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Age at most 35 years but age will be relaxed for highly experience candidates
∎ Both Females and Males are allowed to apply but females are especially encouraged.
∎ At least 3-5 years experiences in NGOs on facilitating teachers training under secondary education program.
∎ Experience of community mobilization, education situation analysis on child vulnerability monitoring issue;
∎ Capacity building of stakeholders including community people
∎ Maintain liaison with Union Parishad and other stakeholders to mobilize the resources
∎ Excellent skills on report writing in English
∎ Computer skill on MS Office & Power point and Virtual Communication
∎ ESDO/Plan Management may revise the job description as and when feel necessary to do so.
∎ Comply with ESDO and Plan International Bangladesh policies and practices (child protection, HR, gender responsive safeguarding, health and safety, gender, and other procedures.

Salary:
∎ Monthly Consolidated BDT: 22,000/-
