Job Context:
∎ Bangladesh Nari Sramik Kendra (BNSK) is a development organization, dedicated to promote and protect rights of the migrant workers especially for women migrant workers through (i) Mass awareness campaigns for safe orderly and regular migration; (ii) Capacity building for potential migrants and socioeconomic reintegration of returnee migrants; and (iii) advocacy to promote and protect rights of the migrants and victims of trafficking.
∎ BNSK has been implementing a project titled Eliminating Migrations Induced Problems for Women Migrants with PROKAS, British Council to create an impact in service delivery in migration sector of Bangladesh. It plans to see the Overall impact in women migration is -Reduced incidence of Modern Slavery of women migrant workers of Bangladesh through economic, social, and legal empowerment.
∎ BNSK is looking for a competent and self-motivated individual for the following position:
∎ The position is based in BNSK field office.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare list of prospect and returnee migrants along with migrants in respective working areas
∎ Organize and conduct awareness meeting with women migrants and male migrants regarding face in all stages of migration and gender based violence issues
∎ Awareness session for reducing Gender based violence with domestic workers and their families at slums dwellers'.
∎ Install Digital visual awareness campaign on Safe Migration on the walls of TTCs, IMTs and DEMO offices
∎ Connect BNSK hotline services with partners in each community or sector, including identifying and following up with public or private decision makers, local allies and community leaders to commit to eliminating gender-based violence.
∎ Provide support services for access to justice of victim migrant workers
∎ Organize Day Observation and Issue based Campaign to ensure rights of migrants as Human, Women, Worker and Migrants: International migrants Day; International Women's day
∎ Connect BNSK hotline services with partners in each community or sector, including identifying and following up with public or private decision makers, local allies and community leaders to commit to eliminating gender-based violence.
∎ Carry out Leadership capacity building training of the departing migrant women and do outreach activities together with BNSK management and project team.
∎ Assist in the production and dissemination of community-tailored awareness materials for BNSK project beneficiaries.
∎ Assist in identifying and galvanizing the support service standards implementation plan - to create networks of domestic migrant workers at community level for their self-advocacy.
∎ Coordinate with relevant stakeholders in service provision (including government shelter personnel) towards joint capacity building activities.
∎ Ensure Case management of migrants worker in collaboration with concern stakeholders
∎ Others activities as per guidance of management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 02 years of professional experience in the field of Capacity building
∎ Extensive knowledge in case management and arbitrations
∎ Demonstrates pro-activeness, adaptability and the ability to perform and collaborate under challenging conditions.
∎ Ability to build and manage relationships and clear community mobilization.
∎ Has knowledge of women's human rights, violence against women, and domestic violence at the national level.
∎ Excellent skills combined with a proactive, energetic approach to problem solving
∎ The position is based in BNSK field office.
∎ Others activities as per guidance of management day to day.
