Educational Requirements:
∎ At least a Masters Degree in Zoology/Wildlife Biology/Fisheries, or any other relevant field from a reputable university.

Job Context:
∎ Are you passionate about conserving our precious biodiversity? Nature Conservation Management (NACOM) invites applications for the role of Field Manager (Male/Female) for a donor-funded project on Biodiversity Conservation in Cox`s Bazar district.
∎ Report to: Team Leader
∎ Duration: 15 Months (September 2023- October 2024) (Possibility of extension based on the availability of funds)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement project activities as per workplan.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and other necessary reports independently.
∎ Prepare training materials/contents as per project needs.
∎ Organize and conduct training sessions for fishermen and local communities to conserve threatened marine and shorebird species.
∎ Engage in consultations with different stakeholders, including local, national, government officials, and academia.
∎ Arrange training sessions for high-level officials from the Clients on the importance of marine species conservation and ECA rules.
∎ Conduct regular fish landing station and fish drying centers surveys.
∎ Conduct cetacean and bird survey with external experts.
∎ Supervise and manage established turtle hatcheries.
∎ Organize conservation committee meetings.
∎ Perform other activities as per the work plan.
∎ Undertake any other responsibilities as deemed fit by NACOM Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3-5 years of relevant working experience.
∎ Strong computer skills and proficiency in Data Analysis.
∎ Ability to manage projects independently.
∎ Ability to conduct extensive and regular travel within the project area.
∎ Ability to perform well under pressure.
∎ Adept at working with a diverse team.
∎ Effective communication skills with local and international stakeholders.
∎ Understanding the local language will be an added advantage.
∎ Non-smoker.
