Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Agriculture, Diploma in Forestry or Bachelor degree in any discipline with at least two years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates (Bachelor Degree) in Agriculture/Forestry/Animal Husbandry/Social Work with some relevant work experience (internship, project work, research activity, etc.) will also be considered.

Job Context:
∎ Arannayk Foundation (AF), a not-for-profit organization devoted to forest and biodiversity conservation in Bangladesh, has been implementing a USAID-funded project titled "Greening Environment through Livelihood Improvement and Forest Conservation (GREEN LIFE)" in Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar since May 2020. The project is focused on strengthening local stakeholders` capacities for effective co-management of the Sheikh Jamal Inani National Park and promoting alternative livelihood development of the forest dependent communities in its landscape zone.
∎ The AF is looking for two "Field Facilitator" for this GREEN LIFE project. The duration of the job is at least one year.
∎ The main tasks for this position would be, but not necessarily limited to, the following:
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Organizing and facilitating community/group meetings and farmer field school (FFS) sessions.
∎ Setting up demonstration plots on improved horticultural/agroforestry/animal husbandry practices/technologies.
∎ Accompaniment support to FDG members in implementation of AIGA and other development activities.
∎ Facilitating establishment and operation of participatory savings schemes and revolving loan fund by the project participants.
∎ Monitoring of organizational development and management (ODM) and income generating activities of the project participants.
∎ Facilitating improved access of the farmers to markets and extension/technical service providers.
∎ Guiding community development volunteers to provide ODM assistance to the community groups including village conservation forums (VCF).
∎ Any other relevant tasks as assigned by his/her supervisor and senior management of the AF.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Female candidates will be preferred
∎ Subject to fulfillment of other criteria as mentioned above, candidates having language skills in the local dialect of Cox's Bazar will be given higher preference.
Salary: Tk. 35000 - 40000 (Monthly)
