Job Context:
∎ PARI Development Trust is a national NGO registered with NGOAB working in greater Mymensingh. PARI is implementing community development, maternal & child health, nutrition, food Security livelihood, agriculture and child rights program in several Upazilas of Mymensingh, Netrokona, Sunamganj, Jamalpur, Sherpur and Tangail districts. PARI is going to implement a 3 years` period project "Children Youth and Communities for Change (CYCC)" from July 2023. This project focuses on engaging children, youth and adult male and female to promote child rights, engage dropped out youths to productive sectors and collaborate with the government`s and non-government`s sectors in order to develop a child protection system in the target communities, engaging marginal male and female farmers with agricultural activities using sustainable agriculture methods to meet their basic needs and nutrition as well as increase production, income and agro-based income generating activities for the well-being of their family specially children and community and thus transform their lives as a long-term impact in Bokshiganj Upazila under Jamalpur district.
∎ The program seeks few Program Officers and Field Animators to implement the planned activities as frontline change agent to achieve the expected results through effective management and implementation of the program activities.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement field activities as per plan monthly basis in collaboration with community volunteers
∎ Establish adult male female self-help groups in the target community
∎ Establish child clubs and youth clubs and capacity building
∎ Monitor community level learning sessions, meeting and activities time to time with reporting
∎ Establish functional relationship with children, youths, community elite persons and people
∎ Conduct need assessment, analysis and report
∎ Act as a trainer for the group members and conduct training sessions
∎ Facilitate meeting, training, workshops with target participants and stakeholders
∎ Supervise day to day implementation by volunteers and giving feedback to improve work quality.
∎ Prepare MIS and activity report as per need
∎ Select, monitor, survey and take care of the child partners and support to documentation
∎ Support to prepare success stories.
∎ Work as per the guidance of program officers
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are encouraged to apply.
∎ Minimum 3 years working experiences with the grassroots level community people especially with children, youths, people with disabilities, and partners- Preferred
∎ Good knowledge on child rights, strengths, ethical practice and integrated & holistic development program Approach-Desirable
∎ Strong Knowledge on social dimension, Legal structure of the local government, power dynamics and government relations- Essential
∎ Good communication, networking and facilitation skills- Essential
∎ Good proficiency in Bengali, both written and verbal- Essential
∎ Good time management skills- Essential
∎ Good proficiency in English, both written and verbal- Desirable
∎ Decision making, problem solving and multi-tasking skills- Essential
∎ Competent in using MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint presentation- Preferred
Salary:
∎ 18000 - 20000 Taka monthly and other benefits will be provided as per organizational policy.
