Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure procurement of quality full potato seed as per targets
∎ Ensure selection of suitable land as per target for production of certified potato seed
∎ Prepare land approval documents of all blocks and send to Senior Farm Manager
∎ Prepare budget and send monthly report along with the required report to the authority
∎ Execute deed with farmers in respective area and develop contact growers through providing production related training
∎ Ensure potato seed sowing by the contract growers as per the setup target
∎ Minimize the unit cost and also supervise and monitor the activities at field
∎ Provide technical training and support to subordinate staff
∎ Maintain communication with SCA and Upazila Agriculture Officer, local leader, UP Chairman as per program need
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
∎ Perform any other jobs as assigned by the management
