The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Agriculture/ Agronomy/ Soil Science/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Agricultural Extension/ Entomology/ Plant Pathology/ Seed Technology with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or a Second Class/Division (or equivalent) in all academic examinations from any reputed university
Age, education, and experience criteria may be relaxed for highly potential candidates
Prior experience in a similar field will be given preference
Strong knowledge of disease diagnosis and production planning is essential
Must possess excellent communication skills
Ability to multitask effectively and manage diverse responsibilities
Proficiency in report writing, budgeting, work prioritization, and time management
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and adapt to challenging environments
Prepare yearly budget according to vested target and make a comprehensive action plan for implementing inbred rice seed production activities
Provide technical and logistic support to concern people as need
Evaluate and monitor ongoing activities to ensure the targeted production
Ensure all inputs for implementation of seed production activities and ensure proper use and maintenance of all kinds of materials and resources
Ensure staff development by meeting, training, coaching and ensure accountability of staffs
Take necessary step to maintain seed quality with genetic purity (at least 98%) through conducting rouging, isolation and post-harvest activities properly
Keep conversion loss at expected level in raw seed procurement and process loss maximum 3% at SPC level of produced / procured seeds at different seasons
Report to SCA for ensuring seed certification in order to purchase / procure targeted seed
Update all types of official documents, report to the legal authority and record keeping accordingly
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Perform any other jobs as assigned by the management
