Experience:

• The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Agriculture/ Agronomy/ Soil Science/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Agricultural Extension/ Entomology/ Plant Pathology/ Seed Technology with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or a Second Class/Division (or equivalent) in all academic examinations from any reputed university

• At least 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)

• Age, education, and experience criteria may be relaxed for highly potential candidates

• Prior experience in a similar field will be given preference

• Strong knowledge of disease diagnosis and production planning is essential

• Must possess excellent communication skills

• Ability to multitask effectively and manage diverse responsibilities

• Proficiency in report writing, budgeting, work prioritization, and time management

• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and adapt to challenging environments

• Prepare yearly budget according to vested target and make a comprehensive action plan for implementing inbred rice seed production activities

• Provide technical and logistic support to concern people as need  

• Evaluate and monitor ongoing activities to ensure the targeted production

• Ensure all inputs for implementation of seed production activities and ensure proper use and maintenance of all kinds of materials and resources

• Ensure staff development by meeting, training, coaching and ensure accountability of staffs

• Take necessary step to maintain seed quality with genetic purity (at least 98%) through conducting rouging, isolation and post-harvest activities properly

• Keep conversion loss at expected level in raw seed procurement and process loss maximum 3% at SPC level of produced / procured seeds at different seasons

• Report to SCA for ensuring seed certification in order to purchase / procure targeted seed

• Update all types of official documents, report to the legal authority and record keeping accordingly

• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

• Perform any other jobs as assigned by the management
