∎ MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) with a valid BMDC Registration from a recognized medical college or university
∎ At least 2 years of experience working in the Rohingya camps and one year as a managerial position is preferred.
∎ Ability to work effectively under stress in a challenging camp environment.
∎ Flexibility to take on additional tasks and initiative when necessary.
∎ Cultural sensitivity, empathy, and awareness of the target population’s needs.Strong understanding of universal medical ethics.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide administrative support to the staff and ensure the health facility is user-friendly with adequate waiting space and essential services.
∎ Deliver clinical consultations in the health facility in accordance with standard medical guidelines.
∎ Develop and manage duty rosters for the healthcare staff to ensure smooth operations.
∎ Ensure timely collection, compilation, and submission of data as agreed.
∎ Supervise and support medical staff (Medical Assistants, Paramedics, Nurses, etc.) to ensure the quality of service delivery.
∎ Monitor and oversee community outreach activities in collaboration with the Community Outreach Officer.
∎ Ensure the availability of necessary drugs, materials, and equipment for consultations and patient management.
∎ Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) when performing medical consultations.
∎ Actively monitor triage activities and assist in OPD and IPD services as per existing SOPs and guidelines.
∎ Provide health education to patients regarding their diagnosis and treatment plans.
∎ Manage emergency cases following GK/UNHCR protocols and guidelines.
∎ Refer cases to the appropriate healthcare facilities according to the GK/UNHCR referral pathway.
∎ Maintain accurate records, including morbidity charts, for each patient based on the diagnosis.
∎ Lead Facility-based Health Committee meetings, prepare minutes and share them with stakeholders.
∎ Maintain close communication with the Assistant Health Coordinator, MHPSS, and Community Outreach Officer to ensure technical support.
∎ Investigate any unusual health events or potential disease outbreaks in the facility or community.
∎ Uphold patient confidentiality and treat all patients with respect and dignity.
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by the GK Health Coordinator that are relevant to the position.
∎ The Facility Manager may be assigned additional responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Health Coordinator of GK.

∎ Job Context:
∎ The Facility Manager will serve as the administrative head of the GK Health Center (PHC) and provide clinical consultation as required. The role includes creating duty rosters (OPD/IPD) in consultation with the Assistant Health & Nutrition Coordinator/ Health & Nutrition Coordinator and coordinating with the Camp Health Focal, CIC, and other relevant stakeholders. The Facility Manager will also participate in or delegate staff to attend critical meetings within the camps.
