Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
The applicant must have the mentality to work at the field level.
Responsibilities & Context:
Oversee daily transport operations.
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
Manage and maintain vehicle fleet, including regular maintenance and repairs.
Monitor and control transport costs, preparing and managing budgets.
Develop and implement strategies to improve transportation efficiency and reduce costs.
Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, vehicle logs, and maintenance schedules.
Coordinate and inspect the complete documentation, including drivers and vehicle licenses.
Controlling fuel & gas consumption of vehicles.
Keep records/ history of drivers and accidents.
Ensure repair/ maintenance workshop functions are in order.
Submit regular and comprehensive monthly reports to the management.
Handle any transport-related issues or emergencies promptly and effectively.
