Job Responsibilities:
∎ Contributes to the development and implementation of the sales plan to support the sales and marketing strategy
∎ Establishes sales policy, procedures, selling, and reporting guidelines to support the sales team in achieving the objectives, growing market share, and increasing revenues.
∎ Manages the sales cycle from the contacts stage to the post-closing stage for all sales to ensure all customer requirements are well understood and responded to take into consideration the capabilities offered by the company.
∎ Delivers agreed revenue and shares objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis; achieves the monthly KPIs and supports the team in achieving their KPIs.
∎ Provides weekly and monthly reports, data, research, and market intelligence to the COO-Group Freight Division highlighting business performance, competitive landscape, and recommendations for increasing revenue.
∎ Reviews and tracks progress (self and team) against revenue and targets, analyses sales/ revenue reports, recommends and proposes changes to existing plans and operating Budgets, and implements approved changes.
∎ Ensures all customer visits, opportunities, and any other customer information (by self and team) are updated into opportunity Log sheet/ Systems in line with the requirements and expectations.
