Responsibilities & Context:
  • The position is entirely sales orientated.

  • Track record of sales successes through local and international tenders.

  • Wide working level access in public sector Organisations.

  • Ability to understand tender terms, preparation of bids and follow-up to win contracts.

The candidate will be expected to carry out the following responsibilities:

  • Understand user needs and preferences and explain to potential users` features and specifications of products we offer.

  • Follow up of procurement processes of government organisations, departments and projects.

  • Effective marketing & communication of products and equipment we handle through presentations, demonstrations etc. where applicable.

  • Actively pursue sales targets as planned & set by senior management.

  • Hands-on follow up of business potential on a daily basis, wherever necessary or as per the instruction of management, through visiting clients` premises in person or via telephone.

  • Effectively develop & maintain professional relationships with clients.

  • Daily reporting of business activities to management via email.
