∎ Qualifications:
∎ 1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
∎ 2. Experience: 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
∎ 3. Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks).
∎ 4. Attributes: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities.
∎ 5. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bengali.
∎ 6. Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop a team, manage multiple priorities, and work under pressure.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
∎ Supervision: Manage and mentor junior accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in their work.
∎ General Ledger: Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
∎ Reconciliation: Perform and review bank reconciliations and other account reconciliations.
∎ Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
∎ Audit: Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure compliance with internal controls.
∎ Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.
∎ Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and procedures.
∎ Cost Control: Monitor and analyze costs, providing insights for cost-saving opportunities.
∎ Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
∎ Strategic Planning: Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
∎ Management Tasks: Perform any tasks assigned by the management as required. Professional & Additional Qualification/Requirements.
