Additional Requirements:
  • 4–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a corporate legal department or a reputed law firm.
  • Experience in handling legal matters across multiple industries or group companies is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of land laws, property documentation, registration processes, and compliance frameworks.


Responsibilities & Context:
  • Maintain a central repository of legal documents and ensure timely renewals and compliance.
  • Coordinate with external counsel on ongoing litigation and arbitration matters.Prepare case briefs, maintain litigation records, and monitor the status of all cases.
  • Attend court hearings or proceedings when required.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations relevant to the group's industries (e.g., Companies Act, Labour Laws, Environmental Laws, etc.).
  • Assist in statutory filings, ROC filings, and regulatory disclosures.
  • Provide legal advice and risk assessment on new projects, partnerships, and contracts.Identify legal risks in business operations and suggest risk mitigation strategies.
  • Support company secretarial functions as needed, including drafting board resolutions and maintaining statutory registers.
  • Assist in managing legal aspects of M&A, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring.
  • Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and legal agencies.Represent the company in legal and administrative proceedings, as needed.
  • Conduct legal due diligence and title verification of land properties.
  • Coordinate with legal counsel to assess encumbrances, zoning regulations, and ownership history.
  • Draft, review, and manage legal documents related to land acquisition, lease agreements, MoUs, sale deeds, registration papers, and mutation records.
  • Maintain updated records of all land-related documents in physical and digital formats.
  • Interact with landowners, brokers, local authorities, and legal consultants.
  • Ensure compliance with state and central regulations related to land acquisition and usage
  • Coordinate for layout approvals, land use certification, and development permissions.
  • Assist in resolving land-related disputes, claims, or litigation in coordination with legal teams.
  • Support documentation for legal proceedings and court cases when required.
