Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance
∎ Or M.Com in Finance/Cost Accounting with B. Com (Hons) in Business Studies
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Cost & Management Accounting, Cost and budget
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Food (Packaged)/Beverage, Manufacturing (FMCG)
∎ Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning, Studying and collecting data to determine costs of product or service.
∎ Costing for Product R&D / new product launching
∎ Determine actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
∎ Identify outcome of any changes processing methods to determine effects on cost.
∎ Proper recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures.
∎ Reconciles finished goods inventories periodically.
∎ Setting costing standard as process costing, job costing, batch costing and target costing, ABC costing, etc.
∎ Monitor the costing of each product and communicate with the concern team for further improvement.
∎ Closely monitor the factory's operational efficiency like capacity utilization, rejection etc and advise to management.
∎ Closely monitor the raw material consumption of each product and compare it to the budget to control the raw material cost.
∎ Prepare actual vs. plan (budget) analysis. Prepare various financial analysis related to manufacturing costs, inventory, and expense information for various customers as needed for management decision making support.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Cost Accounting Knowledge
∎ Ability to effectively communicate with non-finance staff, including those in the warehouse and factory
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
∎ Strong attention to detail
∎ Self-motivated and forward thinking
∎ Excellent working knowledge of computer software including Excel and other production / costing software and ERP system
∎ Willing to work for long time with Bengal Meat team.
