Responsibilities & Context:
To plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production targets for knit garments.
To monitor production output and ensure achievement of shipment schedules.
To coordinate with IE, QA, Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, and Store departments for smooth workflow.
To ensure proper line balancing, manpower allocation, and machine utilization.
To monitor quality at all stages of production and reduce alteration, rejection, and rework.
To implement corrective actions for production bottlenecks and quality issues.
To ensure compliance with buyer requirements, SOPs, and factory policies.
To maintain production reports, efficiency reports, and daily line performance records.
To ensure adherence to safety, 5S, and compliance standards on the production floor.
To support sample development and pilot runs when required.
To guide, motivate, and supervise line supervisors and operators.
To coordinate with planning and merchandising teams for order status updates.
To ensure proper handling of machines, materials, and accessories to minimize wastage.
