• Experience in the food or meat processing industry will be given preference.

• Ability to work in cold and wet environments, typical of meat process plants.

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and automation.

• Proficient in HVAC, cooling systems, utility machinery and power distribution.

• Mid-level proficiency in AutoCAD and strong project management and supervisory skills.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Knowledge of ISO, GMP, HACCP, and HALAL standards is essential.

• Proficiency in MS Office.

Join Quality Feeds Limited, a leader in the feed and food processing industry, to support mechanical maintenance in our meat processing plant. This role ensures equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and compliance with food safety standards.

• Design, develop, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment used in meat processing, such as conveyors, chillers, evisceration machines, scalders, feather pluckers, cutting machines, smokehouses, and other machinery.

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement both preventive and corrective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.

• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to improve processing line efficiency, safety, and yield.

• Support capital projects including equipment upgrades, facility expansions, and process automation initiatives.

• Analyze and optimize production processes for efficiency, reliability, and ergonomics.

• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the procurement, upgrade, and installation of machinery.

• Ensure strict adherence to food safety (HACCP), sanitation, and occupational health & safety standards.

• Participate in continuous improvement programs and root cause analysis initiatives.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, technical documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Train and support production and maintenance personnel in proper equipment operation and safety practices.
